Secure Home Banking, Everyday, Everywhere

In 2005, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), the regulators overseeing banks and credit unions, communicated that passwords alone will no longer be acceptable as the sole means of achieving online security. Multifactor authentication (MFA) was the recommended solution.

Our member’s online and telephone banking security has always been a top priority to Family First Federal Credit Union.

That’s why Enhanced Login Security is so important. The new security service is easy to set up, and, most importantly, gives you extra protection from fraud and identity theft. Enhanced Login Security identifies you as the true “owner” of your accounts.

Now, when entering the online home banking site not only will your password be recognized, your computer will be recognized as well.  When entering the online home banking site if we don’t recognize your computer – you’ve logged in from a public computer or one you haven’t used before - you will be prompted to provide information Lockthat only you will know as an additional line of defense against unauthorized access to your accounts.

When entering the telephone banking system with enhanced security you will be prompted to create a second access code in addition to your current pin number.  These numbers will be used in all future telephone banking sessions.

Enhanced Login Security is just one more way to prevent fraud, protect against identity theft, and strengthen your online and telephone banking security as a whole.
